Gotta honour our dads in June! This time it's my hubby's dad. We'll be using stickease from the "It's a Guy Thing" collection, and the Solo alphabet for the large letters. There's sewing to do for the brave clubbies, and the outside page edges are distressed and inked in Cocoa. I'll be doing my journaling and additional photos on the "toonie challenge" complimentary page! I'll post that when I finish it. We will be meeting this Wednesday (June 24) at 7 p.m. Guests are welcome just email me if you want to join us! ($5 material fee for guests.)

When Erica described to me what she wanted her party invitations to look like I knew I wasn't getting off easy! So we spent an evening making them together. Not only did they turn out great but she said, "I love scrapbooking with you, Mommy! It's so much fun!" That melted my heart! Another award winning comment was, "It's going to be so fun to hand these out. Everyone will probably say, "Did you make these yourself? They're so good!" I love that she values handmade items!
It was amazing how much of the invites she helped with. I cut and scored the envelopes, and then she cut out the notches. She stamped the images, and I punched them out. She ink distressed all the edges of the patterned squares and white circles. She liked that part a lot, but her favourite part was colouring the presents and then using the blender pen!
Paper and Ink Colours Used:
Barn Red, Autumn Terracotta and Sweet Leaf
(Stamp and patterned paper were not CTMH products)

I totally loved a layout posted by Laurel Seabrook (a very talented CTMH consultant) on her blog (Laurel's Place), so I took her idea and made it my own. Here's the result! (I love using my sewing machine on layouts and cards!)
Outdoor Denim (Textured CS) and Emporium B & Ts
Stamp Sets Used:
Friendship Alphabet (large and small), Today's Date, Giggle Lowercase (for the ?), Treasure Life, Playful Flourishes,
Outdoor denim bigger brad
Dimentional Elements bracket
Okay, a couple more cards! These were made for friends who were celebrating the birth of their baby girls. The floral butterfly is not CTMH, but everything else is! I thought they were pretty unique, so I thought I'd share!!
